Houses
Nine banners, and the ones that still watch each other
The Realm is not a blank map with tokens. It is nine Houses with names, rivals, and a history that outruns the current rules freeze. What follows is the strongest recovered identity set. It originated in Dragon Feather-era documents. It is foundation, not a license to import old mechanics.

Confirmed relationships
| Houses | Bond |
|---|---|
| Lunara ↔ Aetherion | Confirmed rivalry |
| Valoris ↔ Draconis | Confirmed alliance and shared kingdom / co-rule |
| Noctara ↔ Veyrith | Shared underground crystal connection, not automatic alliance |
All other relationships are scenario or playtest material. Do not lock a web of secret treaties in the first session. Let the table write them.
World-map coordinates and final House placement remain a production task. Play the Houses as political identities now; pin them to the 24 × 24 grid when the Seed tells you to.
